rattlesnake and namesnake
by team teso

read the advisory in doc/ before asking stupid questions.

namesnake is a tool to check whether a nameserver can be abused as a traffic
amplifier. it is not fast, in fact it is very slow. i could've done it very
fast, but since you are only going to check your local servers anyway, you
shouldn't care, do you ?

rattlesnake is a denial of service attack tool used to produce queries.
usage should be obvious, if not reread the advisory.

btw, for the compilation, you have to have libnet 1.x installed. the
compilation errors (random/srandom) are caused by invalid libnet headers,
i hope they will be fixed soon, so don't bug me about it.
